Coffee is one of the most popular drinks ripe in the world. Moreover, the caffeine in coffee is also the most widespread stimulant. But that doesn't mean Coffee is good and compatible with everyone. According to the US National Institute of Mental Health, 31% of adults in the United States have anxiety symptoms. Or an anxiety disorder and 85% of Americans drink coffee. Will these things really be related or not?

What is "anxiety disorder"
In the article 11 symptoms, do we check "Anxiety Disorders" or not? Saying that our anxiety is usually a response to certain events that occur. But if there is a bigger anxiety episode than the event, it could mean that we are dealing with an anxiety disorder.
Coffee makes us worry more or not?
In fact, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), a manual published by the American Psychiatric Association and used by healthcare professionals for the diagnosis of mental disorders. Currently I list four things that have caffeine involved.
Coffee poisoning symptoms (Caffeine intoxication)
Caffeine withdrawal
Unspecified caffeine related disorder
Other disorders caused by caffeine (Anxiety disorder, insomnia)
Reliable study sources from 2008 show that Caffeine increases alertness by blocking a chemical in the brain (adenosine) that makes us feel tired while stimulating the release of adrenaline, known to increase energy. (Reference)
If the caffeine intake is high enough, these effects can be exacerbated, resulting in caffeine anxiety. Additionally, a 2005 study indicated that consuming too much caffeine can lead to symptoms similar to psychiatric disorders, including sleep disorders and increased anxiety (ref).
However, coffee has other health benefits, so it's best to consume it in moderation, and if you find yourself experiencing anxiety and difficulty sleeping, avoiding caffeine is a viable alternative. Help friends Can improve symptoms |
